Dot Newton
BA (Massey)
Dot started her working life as a journalist, and moved into public relations for a large forestry corporate in Auckland, before moving to the UK with husband, Dave. There she worked as a press officer in the Thatcher-lead government. In 1991 she and Dave returned home, and took over an existing dental business that had a long Taranaki history dating back several decades and where her own family had attended.
She runs the business while Dave heads up the clinical team. She is a people person, who likes to take care of her staff and the patients.
Dot is also a proud Taranakian from a sheep and beef farming background.
